About the Author
Art Katz attended Santa Monica City College, UCLA, and the University of California at Berkeley, earning B.A. and M.A. degrees in history as well as a M.A. degree in Theology at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. He has spoken to secular, university and religious audiences in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Australasia and the United States. His other books include: Reality - the Hope of Glory, The Spirit of Truth, Ben Israel: Odyssey of a Modern Jew, and Apostolic Foundations.

A Rare Yet Remarkable Work

In this 122-page book, Art Katz peers into a "burning bush" that few have been willing to peer into. It is a "daring hypothesis," as the back of the book describes, and he opens it up with both prophetic audacity and anguish.
This is not a speculative book, written to make money off of controversial ideas. It is a cry for the true knowledge of God, and a call for men to look into the Scriptures and into history, to see that God has been at work in the midst of tragedy and tumult, and that He has sought to reveal Himself in judgment and in mercy. Indeed, as Art proposes, we have been unwilling to see God as the Scriptures have set Him forth, and this has paralyzed our ability to see Him as He is in the present. Unwilling to see the Lord as both Savior AND Judge, we have failed to see Him in truth, and our nation is plagued with mirky ideas of who He is. No where in modern history, as the author sets forth, has this reality been more neglected than in our consideration of the holocaust of the Nazi era.
While painful and gut-wrenching to consider, the author believes it is the Church's prophetic responsibility to communicate the character and intention of God in these great shakings, and he argues that the neglect of such considerations fixes us in a shallow faith that is not grounded on reality.
I encourage all to prayerfully, and with Bibles open, take up this book from Art Katz. Stare long and hard into what he has written here. Ask the Lord for wisdom and grace. Read through the Biblical passages he cites. I believe this little book is a crucial foundational stone, meant to be a catalytic tool for thrusting us into the true knowledge of God.

A BOOK ABOUT SOVEREIGNTY that exonerates GOD from the shallow & secular

There can be little doubt that Art Katz was a very BOLD prophetic voice in his 40+ years of ministry in many nations, especially North America & Europe & Israel. What, in summary, was his message in this remarkably courageous book? Just this: THAT GOD, THE TRUE HOLY HOLY GOD, is to be feared as well as loved and trusted and rightly obeyed in His warnings & commandments & Covenants. ... and this great truth & thought also (which was not quite covered in the book) ... JUST HOW SOVEREIGN DO you REALLY THINK YAHWEH-YAHOVAH, THE ETERNAL IS ??? SOVEREIGN IN HISTORY? SOVEREIGN IN individual lives ? ... did most (or even all) the elect jews who escaped the tribulation/holocaust in a time of great peril do so by GOD's sovereign grace and choice ? ... or did most or all of those who perished and did *not* escape death and suffering: was this for reasons that ONLY GOD can tell & reveal ? In the last Great Coming Tribulation and Time of Jacob's Trouble, MANY jews & gentiles will perish: REMEMBER that GOD will sort out the spirits & souls of those who will enter His Kingdom, ... and those who will not. ... but "fear not them who can kill the body, (and afterwards have nothing which they can do), BUT I SHALL TELL YOU WHOM YOU SHALL [wisely & rightly] FEAR: FEAR HIM Whom after He hath killed has Power & Authority to destroy both soul and body in unquenchable fire. Yea, I say unto you: FEAR & REVERE HIM [and give Him the glory DUE UNTO HIS NAME & PERSON]." ... in today's secular, apostate world: very few do. ... brother Art Katz knew this, ... perhaps as much as anyone who spoke GOD'S TRUTH in the 20th & 21st centuries. still available here: artkatzministries.org/online_bookstore/books/
